Sharing in Figma
⬆️ How we share Figma designs with you*
*If you have an existing team, follow the steps under "How to add Deer Designer to your team."
Edit and Comments
Your Deer Designer team will provide a Figma link for you to review designs.
You can comment directly in the file (requires a Figma account).
Editing is not enabled due to editor seat limitations in Figma.
Dev Mode View Access
To access Dev Mode, your account would need to be upgraded to a Full Design Seat (not included in the subscription).
Alternatives:
- Figma Design Link - We send a design link that you can save locally.
- Team Addition - Add [email protected] to your team so we can collaborate directly.
Download
To download and save a local copy:
- Click the Figma icon
- Select File
- Choose Save local copy
We can’t grant edit access to the main file due to Figma's per-editor seat fees.
⬇️ How you can share Figma designs with us*
- If you have an existing team, follow the steps under "How to add Deer Designer to your team."
- Click the Share button
- In the email field, add [email protected]
- Choose can edit or can view
Alternatively:
- Click Copy link
- Make sure link settings match the access level you selected (view/edit)
👥 How to add Deer Designer to your team
If you have an existing team, you can add [email protected].
Steps to add our email:
- Go to your team and click Share (top right of screen)
- In the pop-up under Invite by email, add [email protected]
- Change permission from can view to can edit
- Click Invite
Once added, all your Figma designs will be created directly inside your team, no need to save a local file.
