Your Deer Designer team will provide you with a Figma link so you can review your designs. While you won't be able to edit the shared file, you can comment on it. To add comments directly to the design file, you need a Figma account.
Duplicate
The Figma link your designer shared can be duplicated, allowing you to save it directly to your own Figma account under Drafts. Click the arrow beside the filename then select “Duplicate”.
Download
You can also download and save a copy of the file shared with you. Just click the Figma icon, select "File", and then choose "Save local copy".

Unfortunately, we can’t allow edit access to the main file as Figma charges extra for each editor seat.
In the email field, add [email protected]. You can choose “can edit” or “can view”. For you designer to edit the file, please choose “can edit”.
Alternatively, you can also just click Copy link. Copy link settings will follow what is set under the email field. For this instance, anyone with the link can view it. You can change those settings before copying the link.
If you have an existing team, you can add our email [email protected].
To add our email, follow these steps:
Go to your team and click “Share” on the upper right of your screen
A pop-up will show. Under the “Invite by email” field, add [email protected]and make sure to chance the “can view” to “can edit”.
Click “Invite” and we’re added to your team. All of your Figma designs will be directly created inside your team, so you don’t need to save a local file.
